New Diary Entry (21/03/2003)

Posted on Alanis's website (www.alanis.com) right now, in the 'paintbox' section, is a new diary entry from the 21st of March 2003. She talks about how she's feeling at the moment, " in this truly self-defining time...", offering many thoughts about society, consciousness, evolution of consciousness humanitarian sentiments and so on..
Definitely worth reading (and it says "To Be Continued" at the end, so this is only part 1!)

"Hands Clean" #4 on Rolling stones

According to RollingStones.com, Alanis's single, Hands Clean, was chosen by the readers as the 4th best single of 2002, which followed Eminem's "Without Me", Bruce Springsteen's "The Rising", and Elvis Presley's "A Little Less Conversation".

"Feast on Scraps" finally released!

Feast On Scraps

Yup! The "Feast on Scraps" DVD/CD set we've been waiting for has hit the stores in 10/12/2002!

Also, there are some personal fottage between the performances, "ranging from the philosophical to the shameless (as an attempt to prove to my future grandchildren that I, in fact, did use the word "boner")" - as she wrote on the back of the DVD/CD set. (Duration : 140 minutes)
The second disc contains 9 unreleased (in the US) tracks, which are : Fear of Bliss, Bent 4 U, Sorry 2 Myself, Sister Blister, Offer, Unprodigal Daughter, Simple Together, Purgatorying and Hands Clean (Acoustic). Plus, this CD is enhanced and would lead you to extra footage of "making of" of some of the songs on the record, also it takes you to the secret website (www.feastonscraps.com).

The Precious Illusions Experience Video

Precious Illusions Experience Video
Available for downloading now at Alanis's Official Website is the Precious Illusions Experience Video. According to Maverick, "It started out as a five-page layout in the New York Times Sunday Magazine and was immediately seen as an online morphing video on the paper's website. Taking it one step further, Los Angeles photographer/illustrator Michael Elins teamed with the creative minds at Maverick to utilize photos of Alanis Morissette--as well as symbolic digital enhancements--to create a startling alternate video for her current single "Precious Illusions," from her critically acclaimed three-million worldwide seller 'Under Rug Swept'".
You can also see the video at Sympatico.ca, where you can check out the European Version of "21 Things I Want In A Lover" (which is hilarious, by the way), as well as a behind-the-scenes Perspective of "Hands Clean", and a 22-minutes long video of miscellaneous shows, making ofs, interviews and so on about "Under Rug Swept".
